Mini: D&D Miniature (DDM) -
Orc Zombie (modified)
This is a mini that was painted and modified slightly for an Against the Giants common painting challenge on
Hordelings. The arrow was from a Warhammer
Tomb Kings Skeleton Regiment box set. The snow was made using baking soda, Elmer's Glue and water. The tutorial for making that can be found
here.
Mini: D&D Miniature (DDM) - Galeb Duhr
This is a mini that was painted for an Against the Giants common painting challenge on Hordelings. I was trying to complete all nine commons from the AtG set, so I went with a paint scheme that I know how to do real well. I do like the result, especially the eyes.

Goblin Runner (modified)
This is another of the minis I was painting for the Against the Giants common painting challenge over on
Hordelings. I removed the goblin's spear and gave him a (slightly oversized..at least for a goblin) sword strapped to his back. He looks almost more like a Goblin Champion now to me. The sword came from another DDM miniature,
Aasimar Fighter, from the War of the Dragon Queen set.

Ravenous Dire Rat
This mini is another entry in the
Hordelings Against the Giants common painting challenge. The sculpt had horrendous flashing problems which I was able to carefully remove most of, but the seams still show through a bit. There is also a flat spot on his back (which all of the rats seemed to have) that oblitereated the detail in that area. All in all though, I think I did OK considering the sculpt had issues.
Mini: Grenadier - Zombie
This is a mini that I decided to strip down and repaint. I picked this one up a while back because it has some great detail. I believe it came with a few other undead as well, one other of which will be repainted soon as well. The miniature comes from the Grenadier 607 Unholy Undead pack. Sadly, I only seem to have the two undead...the pack originally had three of them.
Mini: Grenadier - Female Investigator with Shotgun
I'm finally getting around to painting a bunch of my minis for Call of Cthulhu...mainly at the request of my wife who is wanting to use a few (like this one) for her Investigators. This one turned out well I think. The mini comes from the Grenadier box set 6501 Adventures.
Mini: D&D Miniature (DDM) - Gnoll Marauder (modified)
This mini was started for one of the Hordelings Uncommon Painting Challenges (UPC) but I never got it finished in time to submit it. Well, I finally got around to getting it done! I like the result. This mini had some good detail to begin with, and the addition of the spiked mace (from a Warhammer Beastmen Regiment box set) was a great addition.

Ochre Jelly
This mini was painted as an entry in the
Hordelings Against the Giants Common Painting Challenge. I had wanted to paint one of these up like a Shoggoth. Even though the miniature has no 'mouths' I still think it makes a great proxy for a small Shoggoth. The picture does not do the paint justice...the 'eyes' were done with bright red, then a coat of
Blazing Orange (GW Paints?) and finally a coat of red ink. The result almost looks like they glow. I am exceptionally happy with how this miniature turned out.
